Google recently announced Google IO 2024 will take place on May 14. There are some major announcements in the event. Android 15 new features and updates will be showcased in the event. Every year google launches it’s Google Pixel A series in Google IO. As Usual Pixel 8a launching this year in Google IO 2024. This budget smartphone is the successor to last year’s Pixel 7A.
Pixel 8a is likely to power with Tensor G3 which can hold all the AI capabilities in Pixel 8 series. We may expect some of Generative AI features in the 8a. Pixel 8a design will be similar to Pixel 8.
Comparing to pixel 7a Pixel 8a will have curved edges which is comfortable to hold.
Camera bar is identical to Pixel 8 holding 2 cameras.
There might be an Actua Display equipped for Pixel 8a or we may see the regular OLED 90Hz display. Pixel 8a will be powered with Tensor G3 and google is planning to launch 256GB variant along with regular 128GB variant. Pixel 8a supports dual SIM one is Physical and other is eSIM.
This time with Tensor G3 more improved cameras and AI features on Pixel 8a like Audio Magic Eraser, Magic Editor, Best take and Gemini as digital assistant. Circle to search may available on 8a but google hasn’t rolled out the feature to 7a so we need to wait till the launch.
Google Pixel 8a will be available on Flipkart in India. According to some sources the price will be around 45-47K INR.
Google recently started Manufacturing Pixel devices in India so we may see price drop.
