Google’s circle to Search is only Limited to Pixel 8 series but what about other Pixel devices

Google launched a circle to search feature which is a new way to search anything on your phone just with a simple gesture. If you are on a webpage, Instagram or watching something just circle the subject to search on Google. This displays you info regarding what you circle without switching to other apps.

Samsung included this feature in the S24 series. You can search by circling, highlighting, scribbling or tapping.

How to use Circle to Search?

To use Circle to search feature

  1. Long Press on Navigation bar or Home Button
  2. Circle on any item you see on screen
  3. Related search results and ads will appear below
  4. When you’re done exploring simply swipe back
  5. You’ll be right back where you started

Google’s Circle (or highlight or scribble) to Search only Limited to Pixel 8 series but why?

Google made the circle to search feature available exclusive to Pixel 8 series but what about other pixel devices.

Pixel fans complaining about this because Pixel 7, Pixel 7 pro, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6a are still under support but why do google limited the feature support.

Circle to search is not that powerful where Tensor G1 and Tensor G2 can easily handle it. We may expect the feature to be rolled out in future updates.
